GNM or General Nursing Midwifery is a Three years diploma course and is one of the most recognized in the field of Nursing.GNM diploma course is considered as a stepping stone towards making a career in the Nursing field. Successful completion of a GNM diploma leads them to be registered as an RNRM (Registered Nurse Registered Midwife) and are designated as a Nurse to working with Government, private hospitals and clinics.Future prospects for students also lies in pursuing higher education & become eligible to pursue BSc Nursing and BSc (Post-Basic) Nursing programmes.CINS is the most preferred Nursing School for GNM in West Bengal, for its high placement records and extensive learning process.

| 5 | Nationality | She should be a citizen of India. She shall be a resident of West Bengal uninterruptedly for at least five years, preceding the date of making the application for admission. The residential certificate should be issued by a Gazetted officer/MLA/ZillaParishad/Sabhadhipati/Mayor of Municipal Corporation. |
| 6 | Education | Candidates passed or applied for 10 +2 Examinations from any stream (Science/Commerce/Arts). Desirable performance as per WBJEEB. |
| 7 | Submission of Application | Apply online through WBJEEB portal(www.wbjeeb.nic.in/ www.wbjeeb.in). |
| 8 | Medical Fitness | Candidate should be medically fit. |
| 9 | Selection Procedure | Selection will be based on WBJEEB merit list and counselling. |
