Course Details

This strategy--the Patient Care Development Programme (PCDP)--provides a framework for both staff and patient involvement in shaping and influencing the development of health-care services.

Coordinated and integrated care. Work together to make sure there is good communication, information and education. Provide emotional support. Involve and update family and friends. Ensure a person has access to appropriate care when they need it.

Patient care ensures that the patient is kept happy and comfortable with their wellbeing in mind. It is their right to be treated with dignity and care, and they have the right to have their privacy maintained
