Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) is a 2-year diploma course pursued after the successful completion of the 10+2 level of education. This medical course involves advanced professional learning in: - Prevention, Diagnosis and Treatment of diseases in patients through clinical laboratory tests.
They assist in collecting samples and analyzing the test results under expert supervision. Various ailments are diagnosed and treated with the help of lab reports and test data performed by these technicians through equipment.
DMLT course is a 4 semester-based diploma program of two years. Pathology, Microbiology, Immunology, Biochemistry, and Pharmacology are the subjects covered in the DMLT program.
DMLT course is kind of easy as compared to other courses. As it is mostly a practical based course but the theory is as important as praticals to know what you are doing in praticals and what can be the outcomes . The course goes in a 60-40 way 60% praticals and 40% education..
